Renata Lo Prete to join Silvio Santos program on SBT

SBT presenter decided not to renew her contract with TV Globo

Journalist will work alongside the owner of the broadcaster

Renata Lo Prete, one of the most respected journalists, decided not to renew her contract with TV Globo, where she worked for more than two decades as an anchor on Jornal da Globo and editor-in-chief of telejornalismo.

According to columnist Flávio Ricco, from R7, the journalist will now work at SBT, owned by presenter Silvio Santos. Renata will join the cast of the "Programa Silvio Santos."

According to the columnist, the journalist will get a weekly space in the Silvio Santos program, where she will be able to talk about her passion for politics. Renata has not yet officially commented on her departure from Globo.
